READ ONLY MAGAZINE - No. 1

READ ONLY MAGAZINE is a new zine aiming to serve as a primer for video games forgotten, well-loved and deserving of a revisitation. By writing about games years after their release, I aim to write thoughtfully and holistically about the circumstances surrounding their launch, their design and the impact they had on the world.

This issue was written in response to the COVID-19 crisis and concerns two games that, themselves, respond to and deal with catastrophe.
